Currently we are recruiting for Dog Carers in the following postcode areas of South Yorkshire: S6, S20, S25, S26, S35, S61, S66, S74.

We are looking for people who would like to look after a dog while the owners are away.

This can be for anything from one day up to three weeks.

Most dogs have to go into boarding kennels while their owners are away. This is not the ideal environment for a family pet who is used to love and companionship. 101 Friends is a small business providing temporary homes for dogs so that they don’t have to go into kennels.

We are looking for people who are able to provide a dog with a happy temporary home, either regularly or occasionally, and who have the time to properly care for him or her.

It is important that you are at home for most of the day and that you do not have very young children in your home. You will need a secure, dog proof garden. Apart from that, the most important thing is that you like dogs. You will, of course, have the chance to meet both the dog and his owner before you accept him for a visit. And we will pay you our nominal daily fee for the pleasure of borrowing a dog for a while!
