Sue has had plenty of experience of different breeds of dog herself from childhood and so is ideally qualified to find the right kind of carer for your dog. Her family owned at different times, a black Labrador, a Jack Russell and a German Shepherd. As an adult she had a Welsh/Border Collie cross and two Cairn Terriers plus a host of other small pets. Her two children have now grown up and flown the nest so she has plenty of free time to devote to 101 Friends. A civil servant for 13 years; Sue made the decision to leave public service behind and pursue a career in self employment as 101 Friends Operator for the South Yorkshire area.

101 Friends For Every Dog was the brainchild of Helen Holdsworth who is the founder and runs Hampshire & Wiltshire area. 101 Friends first began in 2005. It was started in consequence of a perceived need for a more personal and friendly care system for dogs than can be provided by traditional establishments. What could be better than the home of an experienced dog-lover who is also a member of our club?
